Improving Life Quality of Postmenopausal Women with Oral Health Advancement

Menopause is a natural developmental stage in woman's life that marked by permanent cessation of menstruation. The period after menopause called postmenopausal. causes irreversible hormonal changes. Hormones have potential role the development and integrity oral cavity. Changes cavity vulnerability postmenopausal women to abnormalities due decreased reproductive hormones, make this be an important concern providing information, education, motivation as well prevention because if disease left untreated can affect systemic conditions interfere with quality women. In regard, community service carried out counseling add examination educate, good correct brushing practices increase for abnormalities. After service, participants became more aware condition their mouth had improve through information obtained from counseling, examination, tooth practices. Furthermore, activity needs on ongoing basis conduct training trainers (ToT) village midwives health workers who directly interact community.
